The Multiple Sclerosis Society of India, Tamilnadu Chapter, established in 1997, is a voluntary organization, whose mission is to minimize the devastating affects of Multiple Sclerosis on individuals and their families. The Society tries to lighten the burden of the patient and the family, by having a visiting service, medical services, guidance and counseling as also provision of aids and appliances, such as wheel chairs, walkers, incontinence products and help with medical reimbursement and hospitalization expenses. Regular contact is maintained with Government and Private hospitals to identify MS cases and create awareness amongst the general public.

We have conducted arts exhibition and a variety of other programs to create awareness of MS in Society. MICO Bosch has been supporting us throughout, indicative of the seriousness with which they view their Corporate Social Responsibility.

• It began with 5 MSP’s today the society serves a large number of Multiple Sclerosis patients .

Tamil Nadu Chapter organized MS-walk, very successful painting exhibition which created awareness far and wide and helped them raise fund for patient welfare and all other activities.
