|
| Head Office guides MSSI Chapters to aim at deterrence of MS at 3 levels: |
- Primary Level: - At primary level, the focus is an early identification. This will be achieved through awareness programs (Bringing out booklets on disease aspects, Media coverage etc.)
- Secondary Level: - The secondary level concentrates on early treatment, various interventions which help in arresting the progression of the disease.
- Tertiary Level: - At tertiary level we rehabilitate the affected persons and support the family. As the damage is already done, we try our best to put him back into the main stream. Provide wheelchairs, Medical reimbursements and also engage him / her in a job etc.
|
| Objective: |
- Towards early identification of the new cases of MS persons all over India.
- Design MS interventions to reach people early more effectively in terms of their strategic and immediate needs
- To create awareness by way of developing and showing video clippings and brochures for effective managing cures.
