Our Focus Areas
Awareness & Advocacy
The National Youth Wing works to increase understanding of Multiple Sclerosis among young people, communities and decision-makers. Through digital campaigns, webinars, discussions and awareness initiatives, NYW encourages informed conversations around MS and disability inclusion. It also advocates for stronger policies and better access to rights and services for persons with MS, aligning its efforts with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act (RPWD), 2016, and contributing to a more inclusive and supportive environment.
Rehabilitation & Livelihood
NYW recognises that living well with MS goes beyond medical care. The Youth Wing promotes awareness about rehabilitation services, skill development opportunities and inclusive employment pathways that support independence and well-being. By sharing information, facilitating conversations and encouraging collaboration with partners, NYW aims to help young people with MS explore meaningful opportunities in education, work and daily life while strengthening their confidence and self-reliance.
Community Support & Fundraising
Building a strong and supportive MS community is central to the Youth Wing’s mission. NYW mobilises individuals, volunteers and organisations to raise resources that sustain awareness programs, community initiatives and support services. Through crowdfunding, partnerships and youth-led campaigns, the Wing encourages collective participation in strengthening the MS ecosystem. These efforts help expand outreach, enable new initiatives and ensure continued support for people living with MS across the country.
