#AcceptAdaptAchieve – A Doctor’s Insight

By February 22, 2026March 4th, 2026Hyderabad

On 22nd February at 11:00 AM, the digital space came alive as the MSSI Hyderabad Chapter hosted a powerful India MS Month Online National Webinar under the inspiring theme #AcceptAdaptAchieve.

With 65–70 participants joining from across the country, the session became more than just a webinar; it was a shared space of learning, courage and collective strength.

Expert Voices That Inspired Change

  • Dr. Sireesha Yareeda – Neurologist
  • Dr. Namita Singh – Psychologist

The session featured two exceptional experts who brought both science and sensitivity to the conversation.

“Use It or Lose It” – Keeping the Brain Active

Dr. Sireesha Yareeda emphasised a powerful principle for people living with MS, “USE IT OR LOSE IT.”

Cognitive engagement isn’t optional; it’s essential. Whether through learning something new, solving puzzles, reading, or nurturing hobbies, keeping brain cells active helps strengthen neural pathways and maintain mental agility.

She also delivered invaluable insights on MS and pregnancy, addressing concerns with clarity, compassion and evidence-based guidance. For many attendees, this segment was deeply reassuring, breaking myths and replacing fear with informed confidence.

Mind Over MS – The Psychology of Strength

Dr. Namita Singh brought warmth and relatability to complex psychological concepts. Through simple similes and everyday examples, she made mental health strategies accessible and actionable.

One powerful line echoed in the minds of participants:

“Miss MS, why are you bothering? Relax. Enjoy yourself.”

Her message was clear: fear feeds MS more than courage does. When we shift our mindset, we shift our experience.

She encouraged participants to:

  • Be the driver of their brain
  • Let go of fear
  • Build and maintain a strong state of mind

The 3As in Action – Accept. Adapt. Achieve.

The webinar beautifully reflected the spirit of the 3As:

  • Accept – Acknowledge MS without surrendering identity
  • Adapt – Modify lifestyle and mindset proactively
  • Achieve – Continue pursuing goals with resilience

The interactive Q&A session saw active participation from 65–70 attendees, making the session dynamic and deeply engaging. Questions were thoughtful, honest and reflective of a community determined to live fully.

Key Takeaways

The India MS Month webinar was not just an event; it was a reminder that living with MS is not about limitation but about leadership over one’s own journey.
