Commemorating the occasion of World MS Day-2024, MSSI – Chennai Chapter did special recordings with three FM Stations – Hello FM, Chennai Live and All India Radio, which got broadcasted in their respective FM stations in an effort to spread awareness about Multiple Sclerosis. The speakers included Dr. Venkatraman Karthikeayan (MBBS., MD (Gen Med)., DM (Neurology)., DNB (Neurology).,Fellow in Multiple Sclerosis & Neuroinflammatory disorders (UK), Fellow in Advanced Parkinson Disease Therapy (UK)., Consultant Neurologist in Kauvery hospital, Alwarpet and Bharath Medical College and Hospital) and MS persons elucidated on what is MS, its impact among the MS persons, its severity, and its current situation with respect to medical advancements, besides MSSI’s endeavours towards the MS persons and their family.
