Calcutta I’m Sorry

A special event was held by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI), Chennai Chapter, on May 25, 2024, to commemorate World MS Day. The event featured the screening of the film Calcutta, I’m Sorry, produced in collaboration with Pepper Watcher Productions. The film tells the inspirational story of Amanda Wright, an Anglo-Indian music teacher living with multiple sclerosis (MS), who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.

The screening was attended by dignitaries, including Chief Guest Ms. Shreya P. Singh, IAS, and Harry MacLure, the film’s director. Ms. Singh spoke about her experience helping individuals with disabilities through initiatives like “Sparsham,” which empowered such individuals to become independent.
