MSSI, Mumbai Chapter organized India MS Day Awareness Walk on February 4th, 2024 at Shivaji Park. Over 500 attendees, including neurologists, celebrities, MS patients, families, students, and senior citizen groups, marked the event’s success.
Distinguished neurologists, including Dr. Satish Khadilkar, Dr. Arun Shah, Dr. Roop Gursahani, Dr. Joy Desai, Dr. Sagar Oak, Dr. Rakesh Singh, Dr. Rahul Chakor, Dr. Neeraj Jain, and Dr. Varsha A Patil graced the occasion. Dr. Varsha A Patil moderated the insightful discussion that addressed various aspects of MS.
Tokens of appreciation were given to doctors by Mrs. Sheela Chitnis, co-founder MSSI & Hon. Chairperson Mumbai chapter. Celebrities like Devesh Mirchandani, Divya Palat, and Padma Shri Uday Deshpande added star power to the event.
With a beautiful performance by Devesh and a spectacular Mallakhamb show, the walk was flagged off, amplifying MS awareness through placards.
