National Society For Equal Opportunities For the Handicapped, India (NASEOH, INDIA) established in 1968 & has been steadily working towards developing comprehensive rehabilitation opportunities for the persons with disabilities so as to facilitate integration into the mainstream of the society.
This year’s Dr. Amar Nath Tandon National Award for Voluntary services by Naseoh is given to Mrs. Sheela Chitnis, Co-founder of MSSI, India, who has pioneered the care and support to persons with MS in India through physiotherapy, Counseling & Medical Support. She has also mobilized sizable funds through creative ideas and events for the rehabilitation of Persons with MS.
